  • Please note that the estimated shipping timeframes apply only to in-stock items. Made-to-order and pre-order items have different shipping schedules, as specified on the product page or in the confirmation email you receive after purchase.

    While we strive to keep our inventory up to date, we cannot guarantee that all items listed on byrebeccagoddard.com are in stock at the time of your order. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you via email.

    Handling time for all orders is 1–5 business days (unless otherwise stated). This does not include the shipping timeframe. Shipping timeframes depend on our courier and are beyond our control. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to track the movement of your shipment with the courier.

  • For small products and items readily available for purchase in our webshop, we currently offer shipping to the following counties:

    For most small item shipments, orders will be delivered via DHL. Whenever possible, we use DHL’s ‘GoGreen’ climate-neutral shipping to minimize environmental impact.

    For large products, such as tables and heavy furniture requiring crate packing, we currently offer delivery to the following EU countries:

    Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

    If you are located outside these areas and wish to place an order, please contact us via email at info@byrebeccagoddard.com. We will be happy to review your request and explore shipping options for both small and large items.

  • When you place an order on our website, your payment is securely processed by our third-party billing partner, Stripe. By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes does not store or retain any billing or credit card information. Stripe facilitates payments via credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay.

    At this time, we do not accept PayPal, Klarna, or Afterpay.

    For larger, made-to-order furniture, payment is billed via invoice and must be settled through bank transfer via the international banking system.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the following standard rates:

    €6.00 - Germany

    €14.00 - European Union

    €24.00 - Ukraine, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland

    €48.00 - Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Maldives, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States


    *Orders weighing 5kg or more may be subject to additional shipping fees.*

    For large furniture and made-to-order products, shipping costs will be provided via a separate quote. Many of these items require crate delivery due to their size and weight.

    Please note: Free shipping offers do not apply to furniture and made-to-order products. We may occasionally offer free shipping promotions, but these do not apply to items requiring cargo, white glove, or crated delivery.

  • All items By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes are shipped from Germany. When ordering products from the EU to non-EU countries, you may be required to pay customs duties, taxes, VAT, or other import fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes is not responsible for any additional fees imposed by customs authorities. Customs fees and import duties vary from country to country and we cannot provide estimates for the additional costs that might be applied as this is outside our scope of and determined by each import authority.

    If a shipment is unsuccessful due to unpaid customs fees, we cannot assume responsibility for the failed delivery. If the package is automatically returned and needs to be re-shipped, the customer will be billed for any additional shipping and handling costs.

  • All prices are indicated in euros (€), and all orders will be processed in euros (€). If you are purchasing from outside the eurozone, your bank will determine the exchange rate at the time of purchase. By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or any additional conversion fees applied by your bank.

  • Once your order has been placed, By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes will send you an order confirmation email, followed by a tracking information email once your order has been packaged and dispatched. Please save this information so you can track your package and notify us if any issues arise with delivery.

    Ensure your shipping details and personal information are accurate at checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they have been shipped and are not responsible for lost or undelivered orders due to incorrect shipping information.

    For large furniture and made-to-order products, home delivery is curbside only, meaning your order must be collected at the front door of your building or home.

  • If you would like to return an item, please follow these steps:

    Notify us by email at info@byrebeccagoddard.com within 10 calendar days of receiving your order. Include your invoice number (from your original Order Confirmation Email). Specify which item(s) you wish to return and the reason for your return. Return the item(s) in their original packaging to the address provided in our response email.

    The return shipment cost is the customer’s responsibility, and By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes does not cover this expense. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments, so we highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service and re-packing the item(s) very well.

    Items must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition as received. If the item is returned in a diminished condition, a deduction will be made from your refund, reflecting the decrease in value. Refunds are processed within 14 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Postage and shipping costs are non-refundable.

    Please Note, By Rebecca Goddard/Les Thèmes is not responsible for refunding any import duties or customs fees that were paid upon receiving the product. Made-to-order and bespoke products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price may also be non-returnable. This will be stated in the product description.

  • You may cancel your order as long as it has not yet been packaged and dispatched.

    If you wish to cancel your order, it is your responsibility to do so in a timely manner. If your order is eligible for cancellation and you proceed, we will process your refund within 14 working days.

    Made-to-order and bespoke products can only be canceled if production has not yet begun. Once manufacturing has started, cancellation is no longer possible.

    For bespoke designs, a portion of your refund may be deducted to cover the time and costs of product development. The pricing of our bespoke designs includes design development fees and hours, and even if you cancel before production begins, you may still be responsible for a portion of these costs.

  • If your item(s) appear to have been damaged during transportation, please contact us immediately. Send an email to info@byrebeccagoddard.com within 24 hours of receiving your shipment with: a photo of the damage, a photo of the box and item label, and your order number.

    We take great care to provide clear and detailed descriptions for every item, including its condition and any signs of wear or patina. Please note that many of our products are antiques, vintage, or handmade from natural materials, meaning small irregularities and imperfections are often inherent to their character and craftsmanship. These are not considered defects but rather part of their unique appeal.

    If a replacement is needed, we will provide you with a return shipping label and send a replacement item, subject to availability. If the item cannot be replaced and you wish to return it for a refund, we will process a full refund once the return has been received.
