Shipping - Small Products

We offer shipping and delivery of small products within the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and United States. If you are located outside of these areas and are interested to make a purchase, please contact us via email and we will be happy to review your request.

Shipping - Large Products

Currently, we only offer the delivery of our large products (tables and other heavy furniture which needs to be crate-packed ) to the following EU countries:

Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

If you are interested in placing an order for large furniture and are located outside of these countries, please contact us by email and we will be happy to review your request individually.

Shipping Costs & Free Shipping

We offer free shipping for small products (excluding small furniture) on orders above €150. For larger furniture and made-to-order products, additional shipping fees will be added. For orders under €150, shipping will be calculated at checkout.

For free shipping, please use code FREE150 at checkout (this offer only applies to EU and UK countries).

For orders of large furniture and made-to-order products, you will be provided with a shipping quote since many of these products require crate-delivery due to their size and weight. The €150 free shipping policy does not apply to furniture and made-to-order products.

We may sometimes offer free shipping as a promotion or discount, but we are not obligated to do so.

Customs & Taxes On Import

In some cases, when ordering products from the EU to UK, you might be asked to pay additional customs, duties, taxes, or VAT on import. Orders shipped to the UK with a total value less than £135 (apx. €150) are not usually subject to these fees. However, By Rebecca Goddard is no responsible for additional fees. Responsibility of payment of these possible fees lies with the customer.

Shipping Timeframes

Please note that these timeframes apply to in-stock items. Made-to-order and pre-order items ship with different timeframes as specified on the product page or the email you receive after purchase.

We do not guarantee that all the items available at byrebeccagoddard.com are in stock at the time of your order. If we are out of stock of any items in your order, we will contact you by e-mail. Standard handling time for all items is 1-4 business days (unless otherwise stated) and is not inclusive of the shipping timeframes. The shipping timeframe falls in the hands of our courier.

Climate-Neutral Shipping

In most cases for shipment of smaller items, our orders will be delivered by DHL. When possible, we will ship your order via DHL’s ‘GoGreen’ Climate-neutral shipping.

Delivery

Once the order has been placed, By Rebecca Goddard will send you an order confirmation email, followed by a tracking information email once the package has been sent. We ask you to save this information so that you can inform us if there are any issues with delivery.

Please ensure your shipping details and personal information are accurate at the time of checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they have been shipped.

Home delivery of large furniture and made-to-order products is curbside and must be collected at the front door of your building/home.

Returns

Made-to-order, bespoke products, and items purchased at a discounted or promotional price are final sale. These items cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you would like to return an item, we require you to notify us by email at info@byrebeccagoddard.com within 10 calendar days of receiving your order. Please include the invoice number that was written in the original Order Confirmation Email at the time of your purchase, and let us know which item/items you want to return and the reason for your return. To make your return, please package the item/items in their original packaging and return the shipment to the address provided in the email you’ll receive after making your request. The return shipment costs must be paid for by you and By Rebecca Goddard is not responsible to cover the expense. By Rebecca Goddard is also not responsible if a return shipment is lost or destroyed during transit, so we therefore suggest that you choose a shipping service with tracking and insurance. The items must be returned in their original packaging and the items must be in the same condition as when you received it, otherwise a deduction will be made in your refund similar to the decrease of value of the item. You will receive your refund within 14 working days after we have received the return and the item’s condition has been checked.

Canceling an Order

If you would like to cancel your order, you may do so as long as the order has not yet been packaged and dispatched. Orders on products that are made-to-order/bespoke can only be canceled if the production of the product has not yet begun. Once production/manufacturing has begun on your made-to-order product, we cannot cancel your order. If you wish to cancel your order, it is your responsibility to do so in a timely manner. If your order is eligible for cancelation and you choose to cancel, we will refund your payment within 14 working days.

If you decided to cancel the order of a bespoke design, we may subtract a portion of your refund to cover the time cost of the product development. The pricing of our bespoke designs includes our design development fees and hours. Even if you do decide to cancel the bespoke order before production begins, you may still be obligated to pay a portion of our design/development fee.

Damaged Goods

If your item/items appear to be broken during transportation or have been damaged, please send us a photo of the damage, box, and item label along with your order number to info@byrebeccagoddard.com. Any damaged goods must be reported immediately upon arrival of your shipment. Please be aware that many of our products are handmade from natural materials and therefor exhibit unique characteristics. Small irregularities and imperfections are often inherent to the natural stones we work with and are what make our designs special. 

If a replacement is needed, we will provide you with a return shipping label and send a new item to replace the damaged product. This will be subject to availability. If the item can not be replaced and you wish to return the faulty item for a refund, we will refund you the full amount.

Placing An Order

When you place an order on our website, you data is processed by our third-party billing partner. By Rebecca Goddard will not maintain a copy of your billing or credit card information. All transactions are securely handled by our billing partner, Stripe, who offers payments via credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay. We currently do not accept payment through PayPal.

Payment for larger, made-to-order furniture is billed on invoice and payable by money transfer via the International Banking system.
